Planeta Web is an Internet agency specialized in web development and online marketing in tourism sector. Created in 2001 and established as an Ltd. in 2004, in a few years has become one of the leading companies in the Balearic market with a strong presence in the tourism sector.
Currently it has a portfolio with more than 300 clients, including public institutions such as the Balearic Government or the Municipality of Palma and private companies such as Sol Meliá, Barceló, Iberostar and HM Hotels, between others.  80% of the clients of Planeta Web belong to the tourism sector, standing out hotels, rural tourism, hotel chains and tourism destinations (portals for tourism promotion encouraged by government institutions or hotel associations.) The remaining 20% of the clients is distributed in other sectors: public companies, entrepreneurship  organisations which are not in the tourism sector, advertising agencies, consulting firms, freelancers, etc. In 2007, began its expansion, both nationally (with the opening of headquarters in Malaga, Andalusia) and at international level, thanks to the product Globalsys, developing websites for hotels in Central America (Mexico, Honduras, Dominican Republic), Britain and Eastern Europe (Bulgaria and Romania).
In August 2008 it was opened a new headquarters in Sofia, in order to strengthen our market presence in the countries of Eastern Europe, particulary Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia.

It is a product specially designed for the tourism sector, which is having great success in the marketplace. Hotel Globalsys was awarded by the Government of the Balearic Islands as the best project in the field of technological innovation in 2007, winning the prize Balears Innova.
• The Online reservation system especially designed for hotels, rent-a-car and boats.
• The interactive games or adgames, very efficient to attract clients and enrich databases.
